I woke today from a dream and found that we had wrote a song, so long coming
We sang together sitting by the tree, the tree of life that brought us here so freely

We receive from it, it becomes part of us
We create together, under the glow of its joy

It’s bark supple and its rings of growth are so indestructible, immutable
I feel its sap rise up, and cleanse my corrupted blood through its core
It reaches deep into the ground and reaches high into the sky

We His children return to the bloom of youth according to our loves and beliefs
I feel substance of life itself streaming from its rings and into my veins

The more obstructions are removed the more we receive strength from its core to ours

We lay together by the tree absorbed in sacred intimacy
We play together, in the joy of touch, and we create spiritual offspring

We receive from it, it becomes part of us
We create together, under the glow of its joy

I woke today from the primal dream, the infants dream that I need from something out there, something out there, but I am already here
